Head of Parastatals Department
This department is responsible for routing audit checks of all Parastatals, Agencies and Commissions' of the State. Audit checks ranging from expenditure, personnel cost, revenue generation, project cost and retirement benefits of all Agencies, Departments and Commission
Shehu Alhaji Isa, CNA
Head of Contract, Monitoring and Evaluation Department
This department is responsible for monitoring of all capital projects executed by the State Government from inception to completion of the project.
Emmanuel Ankallah, CNA
Head of Revenue Department
This department is responsible for auditing all internal revenue generation by Ministries, Courts, Schools and Internal Revenue Service of Gombe State.
Ishaku Aliyu, CNA
Head of board and Losses Department
This department is responsible for auditing and verification of all Government unserviceable items. It is also in-charge of investigation of theft and other losses as a result of fire outbreak and other unforeseen incidents that resulted to Government losses.
Mohammed Kabir Abubakar, CNA
Head Expenditure/Treasury Accounts Department
This department is responsible for routine audit checks of all income and expenditure in respect of Ministries. The department is also responsible for analyzing and checking of Accountant General Annual report submitted to the Auditor General for authentication and certification.
Alh. Gambo Mohammed
Head of Government "A" Department
This department is responsible for routine auditing of all the State Ministries including inventories, stores and store records. It is also responsible for auditing Government Secondary Schools and Courts within the Metropolis.
Abdulkadir Abubakar
Head of Pensions Department
This department is responsible for check and pass of all applications for the payment of retirement benefits of all retirees in the State Civil Service and other political office holders by the State Pension Bureau under the State Head of Civil Service.
Mohammed Idi Aliyu
Head of Government "B" Department
This department is responsible for routine audit checks of all income and expenditures of all Government Secondary Schools, Area Courts situated outside the State Capital.
Abubakar Hassan
Deputy Head of Subsidiary Department
This department is responsible for routine audit checks of all Personnel Cost of all the State Ministries. It is also responsible for auditing of all advances and loans account and scrutinizing of state employee monthly payrolls domiciled in the Treasury Headquarters.
Hajiya Aishatu Idris

This Department is responsible for handling the finances of the State Audit Headquarters.
Hafizu Musa
Accountant
The Accountant is the paying officer responsible for maintaining financial records in respect of the the Auditor General Office. He is also responsible for receiving all revenues and payments of all approved expenditures.
